National Destruction

The modern descendants of Israel are to have their Nations destroyed and their people taken captive - Again!

The coming time of Great Tribulation (as Christ called it--Matt. 24:21) will come upon the whole Earth, but it especially will be a time of Jacob's Trouble
(Jer. 30:7).

The scriptures following are not a compete list of all prophecies, but are a representative sample.

Time of Jacob's (Israel's) trouble!

Now these are the words that the LORD spoke concerning Israel and Judah.
"For this says the LORD:
'We have heard a voice of trembling, Of fear, and not of peace. Ask now, and see, Whether a man is ever with child? So why do I see every man with his hands on his loins Like a woman in labour, And all faces turned pale?Alas! For that day is great, So that none is like it;

And it is the time of Jacob's trouble, But he shall be saved out of it.' "
-Jer. 30:4-8 (NKJV)

Notice this prophecy concerns Israel AND Judah. It is not only for the modern Jewish state, but also for the descendants of the lost 10 Tribes of Israel.

It is a time of great pain, sorrow, and great fear! A time like none in history! It is called Jacob's Trouble--which means woe be to the descendants of Jacob since they will bear the brunt of it!

But notice, that Jacob will be saved out of it! There is hope for the future beyond this time of destruction.

Warfare on English-speaking Descendants of Jacob:

The LORD shall bring a nation against you from far, from the end of the earth, as swift as the eagle flies; a nation whose tongue you shall not understand;A nation of fierce countenance, which shall not regard the person of the old, nor show favour to the young:And he shall eat the fruit of your cattle, and the fruit of your land, until you be destroyed: which also shall not leave you either corn, wine, or oil, or the increase of your cattle, or flocks of your sheep, until he has destroyed you.And he shall besiege you in all your gates, until your high and fenced walls come down, wherein you trusted, throughout all your land: and he shall besiege you in all your gates throughout all your land, which the LORD your God hath given you. - Deut. 28:48-52	We would not serve our God therefore we will serve our enemies who will oppress and destroy us. This is describing WW III. The enemy from afar with a strange tongue, that attacked the ancient Israelites and took them captive, was Assyria. Once again, the descendants of Israel will be attacked and taken captive by the descendants of ancient Assyria (who are the German people today), according to the prophecies in Daniel and Revelation! Prophecy is dual, and there is a direct parallel between the past and what will happen in the future.
The enemy is Assyria again.	"Woe to the Assyrian, the rod of my anger, in whose hand is the club of my wrath! I send him against a godless nation, I dispatch him against a people who anger me, to seize loot and snatch plunder, and to trample them down like mud in the streets. But this is not what he intends, this is not what he has in mind; his purpose is to destroy, to put an end to many nations". - Isa. 10: 5-7 (NIV)	God will again use modern Assyria to punish the descendants of Israel--not to totally destroy them but to punish them! Germany is an instrument of destruction in the hands of God Almighty!
Israel descendants to have their country occupied.	Make a chain: for the land is full of crimes of blood, And the city is full of violence. Therefore I will bring the worst of the Gentiles, And they shall possess their houses; I will cause the pomp of the strong to cease, And their holy places shall be defiled. Destruction comes; They will seek peace, but there shall be none. - Ezek. 7:23-25 (NKJV)	This occupation by "the worst of the Gentiles" will again be Assyrian (German) lead.
People are destroyed with disease and warfare.	And I will bring a sword upon you, that shall avenge the quarrel of my covenant: and when you are gathered together within your cities, I will send the pestilence among you; and you shall be delivered into the hand of the enemy. - Lev. 26:25	As the nation is under national attack, the cities will be a place of plagues. After that will come the enemy to conquer.
Most people will die.	A third part of you shall die with the pestilence, and with famine shall they be consumed in the midst of you: and a third part shall fall by the sword round about you; and I will scatter a third part into all the winds, and I will draw out a sword after them. Thus shall my anger be accomplished, and I will cause my fury to rest upon them, and I will be comforted: and they shall know that I the LORD have spoken it in my zeal, when I have accomplished my fury in them. Moreover I will make you waste, and a reproach among the nations that are round about you, in the sight of all that pass by. So it shall be a reproach and a taunt, an instruction and an astonishment unto the nations that are round about you, when I shall execute judgments in you in anger and in fury and in furious rebukes. I the LORD have spoken it. - Ezek. 5:12-15	One third will die from the diseases epidemics and famine. One third of our people will die in the initial destructive attack. The remaining third will survive only to be pursued and taken captive as other prophecies show.

Nations of Israel to be Utterly Destroyed:

All cities to be destroyed.	And I will make your cities waste, and bring your sanctuaries unto desolation, and I will not smell the savour of your sweet odours. And I will bring the land into desolation: and your enemies which dwell therein shall be astonished at it. And I will scatter you among the heathen, and will draw out a sword after you: and your land shall be desolate, and your cities waste. - Lev. 26:31-33 In all your dwelling places the cities shall be laid waste, and the high places shall be desolate; that your altars may be laid waste and made desolate, and your idols may be broken and cease, and your images may be cut down, and your works may be abolished. - Ezek. 6:6 And the cities that are inhabited shall be laid waste, and the land shall be desolate; and you shall know that I am the LORD. - Ezek. 12:20	This prophecy has no historical parallel in the past. When ancient Assyria invaded Israel, it took the Israelites captive and did not destroy the cities. Assyria then moved Samaritans into the vacant cities of Israel. God specifically says that the cities will be totally destroyed. "In all your dwelling places the cities shall be laid waste," is a prophecy of impending destruction on the descendants of modern Israel--with the birthright nations of Britain and the U.S. to bear the brunt of it! In addition, the prophecies written by Ezekiel telling of the destruction of Israel could not possibly be for ancient Israel. Ezekiel wrote those prophecies when he, and his fellow Jews, were taken captive by the Babylonians--about 120 years after the ancient Israelites were taken captive as a nation by the Assyrians! The prophecies are specific to Israel and not Judah.
Unprecedented Disaster Coming!	"This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Disaster! An unheard-of disaster is coming. The end has come! The end has come! It has roused itself against you. It has come! Doom has come upon you--you who dwell in the land. The time has come, the day is near; there is panic, not joy, upon the mountains. I am about to pour out my wrath on you and spend my anger against you; I will judge you according to your conduct and repay you for all your detestable practices. I will not look on you with pity or spare you; I will repay you in accordance with your conduct and the detestable practices among you. Then you will know that it is I the LORD who strikes the blow." - Ezek. 7:5-9 (NIV)	Disaster,doom, and destruction is prophesied by God to come in the near future. He says that he will not spare us from it!
Destruction on the whole land.	The Lord, the LORD Almighty, will carry out the destruction decreed upon the whole land. - Isa. 10:23 (NIV)

People to be Taken Captive Again!

People taken captive as slaves to the land of their enemies.	And I will scatter you among the heathen, and will draw out a sword after you: and your land shall be desolate, and your cities waste. Then shall the land enjoy her sabbaths, as long as it lies desolate, and you be in your enemies' land; even then shall the land rest, and enjoy her sabbaths. As long as it lies desolate it shall rest; because it did not rest in your sabbaths, when you dwelt upon it. ...and you shall have no power to stand before your enemies.And you shall perish among the heathen, and the land of your enemies shall eat you up.And they that are left of you shall pine away in their iniquity in your enemies' lands.... - Lev. 26:33-35, 37-39	The remainder of those who are left from disease, famine, and warfare, will be taken captive--just as the ancient Assyrians took the Israelites of old captive! Notice that the violation of God's Laws are the prime reason, with the land Sabbath (which should occur every seven years) being cited here. Because our countries are following the god of profit, the God of Prophecy will execute judgment on the land.
People taken captive.	"Say to them, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: This oracle concerns the prince in Jerusalem and the whole house of Israel who are there.' Say to them, 'I am a sign to you.' "As I have done, so it will be done to them. They will go into exile as captives. "They will know that I am the LORD, when I disperse them among the nations and scatter them through the countries. But I will spare a few of them from the sword, famine and plague, so that in the nations where they go they may acknowledge all their detestable practices. Then they will know that I am the LORD." - Ezek. 12:10-11, 15-16	Only a few will survive the sword, famine, and plague, plus the captivity.
People taken captive.	So I poured out my wrath on them because they had shed blood in the land and because they had defiled it with their idols. I dispersed them among the nations, and they were scattered through the countries; I judged them according to their conduct and their actions. And wherever they went among the nations they profaned my holy name, for it was said of them, 'These are the LORD's people, and yet they had to leave his land.' - Ezek. 36: 18-20(NIV)	Because of our violence and idolatry we have profaned the name of our God. For this, the descendants of Jacob will be scattered among foreign nations again.
